Two Ghanaian referees, Dickson Iddi Diabor and Joshua Chabel Komi Ayivo, have been chosen to officiate at the 2025 Women’s IHF Trophy Africa Zone VII tournament in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
The event, running from 27-31 May 2025, will see top women’s handball teams from Chad, Comoros, Madagascar, Seychelles, and Réunion compete for a spot in the continental phase.
Diabor, an officer cadet with the Ghana Prisons Service, and Ayivo, a student at the University of Ghana (UG), will represent Ghana on the international stage, overseeing high-stakes matches in one of Africa’s key handball competitions.
The Handball Association of Ghana (HAG) has extended its congratulations to the duo, praising their dedication and wishing them success in this major assignment.
